Salami & Herb Pizza
The origin is Italy but Kiwis love them just as much. Enjoy!
2 x 23cm (approx.) prepared pizza bases
1 tablespoon olive oil
6-7 tablespoons tomato paste
1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
50g sliced salami, julienned
8 pitted olives, sliced
finely grated Parmesan and oregano to garnish
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place oven tray in to heat.
Brush the pizza bases with the oil. Spread with the tomato paste. Sprinkle with the mozzarella and parsley. Top with the tomatoes, salami, and olives. Bake on the hot oven tray for 15-20 minutes, until cooked. Sprinkle with Parmesan and the oregano.
