FreshChoice Ranui opens its doors
FreshChoice Ranui has today been officially opened by local MP and Minister for Social Development, Hon Paula Bennett.
Offering the community a much-awaited supermarket offer, the new store is situated on 433 Swanson Road, and will be open every day from 7 am to 10 pm.
Owner-operators the Ranchhod family are long-time West Auckland locals and are thrilled to bring a brand new supermarket to the Ranui community, and to be increasing their commitment to serving West Auckland. The family also own Glen Eden FreshChoice, Titirangi SuperValue and Avondale SuperValue.
Owner-operator Pranil Ranchhod says the family are passionate about employing and investing in the West and are excited to have 35 local faces join their Ranui team.
“The team are excited to get to know our local customers, and have been busy training to get ready for opening day,” says Pranil.
FreshChoice Ranui will offer a range of great fresh food, and as the name suggests, there will be plenty of choice as range and variety are fundamental to the FreshChoice brand.
“We’ll have an extensive range with a particular emphasis on organic and gluten-free specialty products, and products from local suppliers in Ranui and West Auckland,” says Pranil.
The store took just over nine months to complete and includes a modern design and state of the art features, including electronic shelf prices, which the store will be among one the first supermarkets in Auckland to roll out.
The Ranchhod family are dedicated to supporting the communities they operate in, and have already set up a partnership with Ranui Football Club and Waitemata Seagulls Rugby League Club. They are looking forward to supporting additional good causes in the community going forward.
Across their four stores, they will now have a team of more than 100.
