Burrata Prosciutto Balsamic Strawberry Platter v2

With a delightful mix of sweet and savoury flavours, this simple burrata, prosciutto and balsamic platter is the ultimate summer entertaining dish.

Ingredients

  • 250g strawberries
  • 2 tbs Woolworths balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbs balsamic glaze
  • 200g burrata, drained
  • 100g thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1/2 loaf sourdough bread, sliced
  • 2 tbs continental parsley leaves, coarsely chopped

Method

  1. Hull, then slice strawberries. Place in a large glass bowl.
  2. Add vinegar, oil and glaze and stir to combine. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Tear burrata. Using the back of a spoon, spread burrata over a serving platter.
  4. Top burrata with strawberries, reserving leftover liquid from strawberry bowl. Tear prosciutto into thin strips and add to platter. Drizzle with leftover strawberry liquid.
  5. Preheat a chargrill pan. Brush 6 slices sourdough with oil. Cook slices for 1 minute each side or until toasted. Sprinkle salad with parsley and freshly ground black pepper. Serve platter with grilled sourdough.
