Cheese Rolls

Try this Kiwi classic from our Glenn Jones Kiwiana tea towel collection.
Ingredients
- 1 can Evaporated Milk
- 2 cups Grated Cheese
- 1 pack Onion Soup Mix
- 1 1/2 loaves of Sandwich Slice Bread
- Butter
Method
- Mix evaporated milk, cheese and onion soup in a saucepan.
- Cook cheese mixture over a low-medium heat until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
- Spread cheese mixture over bread slices and roll tightly.
- Spread rolls with a little butter and grill for 2-3 minutes each side or until golden brown. Alternatively, cook in a sandwich press for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
