Creamy Tuna Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs (boiled and peeled)
  • 500g Macro Pasta (shells)
  • 500g tinned tuna
  • 2 finely diced onions
  • Cheese
  • Panko
  • 2 Tbs Flour
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Boil the pasta. Make sure to season water with salt and a splash of oil.
  2. Boil 4 eggs
  3. While eggs and pasta are cooking, dice 2 onions and cook it with butter and oil.
  4. When onions turned soft, add 50g butter and 50g flour, and slowly adding in milk bit by bit, mix it thoroughly until it is creamy. Season to taste and set aside.
  5. Peel eggs and cut in half, set aside.
  6. Drain pasta and add to the creamy onion sauce.
  7. Drain tuna before adding on top of the creamy pasta, add in hard boiled eggs between gaps.
  8. Cover it generously with grated cheese and bread crumbs.
  9. Grill in the oven until the top is nice and golden brown. Enjoy:)
