Easy Haloumi Burgers
Look no further for a delicious vegetarian burger recipe than our easy haloumi burger loaded with everyone's favourite squeaky cheese and sweet chilli sauce.
Ingredients
- 180g haloumi
- 1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 4 seven seeds & grains rolls, split, toasted
- 1 baby cos lettuce, leaves separated, torn
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup sweet chilli
- sauce (plus extra to serve)
Method
- Cut haloumi into 8 slices. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook haloumi for 1 minute on each side or until golden and warmed through.
- Top roll bases with lettuce, tomato, haloumi and sauce. Sandwich with roll tops and serve with extra sauce.
