Let’s make some homemade egg fried rice!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked & cooled rice
  • 4 tbs vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbs Msg/Chicken Bouillon
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and Pepper, to tate
  • Additional: Add 1 cup of vegetables of your choice

Method

  1. In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Pour 3 beaten eggs into the wok and scramble until fluffy and soft, set aside. Scramble the remaining egg in the wok/pan then add some minced garlic (do not burn otherwise it will taste bitter).
  3. Add the cooked rice to the pan. Mix everything together, continuing to toast rice until a little crispy and golden.
  4. Add chicken bouillon, pour soy sauce over the rice and stir well.
  5. Toss in chopped spring onions and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Taste and add salt & pepper as required.
  7. Fried Rice is ready to be served. Enjoy!
