Fusilli Pasta Bake With Italian Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 500g fusilli pasta
  • 1 pinch rock salt (for pasta water)
  • 1 pinch pepper (to taste)
  • 80ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 broccoli, cut into florets
  • 120g parmigian
  • 500g cheese & tomato pasta bake
  • 650g Italian sausages, skin removed
  • 1 sprig rosemary

Method

  1. Boil the pasta as per instructions on pack. Drain pasta 2 minutes before instructions on pack and add broccoli florets after 5 minutes.
  2. Break the sausage meat up and sauté in a fry pan with a little oil, the rosemary and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Combine the cooked pasta and broccoli with the Barilla Cheese and Tomato Pasta Bake sauce, the sausages and half of the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
  4. Place in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
