Fusilli Pasta Bake With Italian Sausage & Broccoli
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 500g fusilli pasta
- 1 pinch rock salt (for pasta water)
- 1 pinch pepper (to taste)
- 80ml extra virgin olive oil
- 2 broccoli, cut into florets
- 120g parmigian
- 500g cheese & tomato pasta bake
- 650g Italian sausages, skin removed
- 1 sprig rosemary
Method
- Boil the pasta as per instructions on pack. Drain pasta 2 minutes before instructions on pack and add broccoli florets after 5 minutes.
- Break the sausage meat up and sauté in a fry pan with a little oil, the rosemary and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta and broccoli with the Barilla Cheese and Tomato Pasta Bake sauce, the sausages and half of the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
- Place in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
