Red Wine Marinade
Marinade recipe for lamb chops, or other lamb cuts
This marinade is easy to make and great if you've got some left over red wine. Tastes delicious on medium-rare lamb chops.
Ingredients
- ½ cup dry red wine
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup finely chopped shallot
- 1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
- ¼ tsp thyme
- ¼ tsp fresh ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Method
- Place lamb in a dish just large enough to hold meat.
- Whisk marinade ingredients together and pour over top. Refrigerate for 4 hours, turning once.
- Drain, and cook as desired.
