Roasted Honey Yams
A delicious side for a roast dinner.
Great with red or yellow yams, this honey glaze is versatile and can even be used on other vegetables.
Ingredients
- 500g raw yams (or can use swede, parsnip, turnip)
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Method
- Cut the vegetables into chunks if necessary.
- Toss all ingredients together in a baking dish until the yams are well coated.
- Bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes, or until tender and fragrant.
- Serve piping hot as a vegetable accompaniment to any meat dish, or allow to cool then toss through leafy greens.
