Slow-Cooked Lamb Shanks with Potatoes
Slow-cooked to perfection!
These classic lamb shanks with potatoes are a wholesome dish for those winter months.

Ingredients
- 1 tbs oil
- 4 large lamb shanks, frenched, trimmed
- 500g potato, peeled, cut into quarters
- 1 x 420g can Campbell’s R & W Tomato Condensed Soup
- 1L (4 cups) Campbell’s Real Stock- Salt Reduced Beef
- 2 tbs brown sugar
- 2 tsp dried oregano leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a medium sized frying pan, brown the lamb shanks in a pan over medium heat.
- Place potato and lamb shanks in the slow cooker. Combine Campbell’s Real Stock and Campbell’s Condensed Soup, brown sugar and oregano.
- Pour mixture over lamb. Cover and on a low setting, set the timer for 8 hours, stirring occasionally, or until potatoes and lamb are tender and cooked through.
