Ultimate Yorkshire Puddings
The quintessential roast dinner accompaniment
This light and fluffy Yorkshire pud recipe is a great go-to accompaniment for your roast beef dinner.
Method
- Preheat the oven to 225°C Fan
- Get yourself a 12 Compartment Muffin Tray. Something with some reasonable depth and pour enough oil in each to just cover the base.
- Pop the muffin tray into the oven for 10 to 15 minutes so the oil gets really hot.
- Meanwhile, beat the eggs, milk, flour and a pinch of salt/pepper together in a jug until light and smooth.
- Carefully remove the muffin tray from the oven, then pour the batter max evenly across the 12 compartments.
- Pop the tray back in the oven to cook for 12 to 15 minutes, or until risen and golden.
