Vegan Crackers
Serve with your favourite selection of dips
Your platter just got a whole lot better with these vegan-friendly crackers. Packed with a selection of nourishing seeds this recipe is sure to be the new family favourite!
Ingredients
- 200g cornmeal flour
- 75g sunflower seeds
- 50g flaxseeds
- 50g sesame seeds
- 50g pumpkin seeds
- 11/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp garlic/garlic powder (optional)
- 250ml boiling water
- 50ml olive oil
Method
- Mix all the dry ingredients together.
- Stir in the olive oil and then pour in the hot water, mix well.
- Put half of the mixture on a sheet of baking paper on the oven tray, cover with a second piece of baking paper and use a rolling pin over the top to flatten out to desired thickness. These are easier to break when thin.
- Bake at 160°C, check after 30 minutes – take out when golden brown.

Awesome recipe!! Made during COVID-19 and couldn't find the cornmeal flower anywhere so I used rice flower & it worked a treat! Will be making again for sure!! Amelia
