2023 Kepler Challenge event entry tickets competition

Two (2) winners will each win FreshChoice Kepler Challenge 2023 entry tickets (the Prize).

The prize includes an entry ticket to compete in the 2023 Kepler Challenge event (including the shorter 2023 Luxmore Grunt event that is held at the same time).

The Prize is not transferable, redeemable and may not be exchanged for cash. Subject to legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value and the prize winner will be notified accordingly. The Prize can not be used in conjunction with any other special offer.

Terms Binding

Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions. Entries not made in accordance with these terms and conditions will be disqualified. Acceptance of the prize by the prize winner is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The promotion commences on Sunday 27 August and closes Friday 5:00pm 15 September 2023 (the “Promotional Period”).

Entries received outside the Promotional Period will be ineligible for entry. The promoter is Wholesale Distributors, 29 Byron Street, Sydenham, Christchurch (the “Promoter”).

This competition is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

Who is Eligible

Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over, who have a valid Meta account to participate and who comply with these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process.

How to Enter

To enter the competition you must comment on the original post from FreshChoice about what you would do for your community to receive the tickets or email FreshChoice Customer Enquiries on customerinfo@freshchoice.co.nz and complete the linked online form with your details. FreshChoice can share any entry on social media related collateral.

Winner

There will be two (2) winners selected from the entries.The winner(s) must share with FreshChoice information showing them fulfilling what they agreed to do for their community, to win the entry ticket. The winner(s) will be selected by the Promoter at the end of the Promotional Period, based on what it considers in its sole discretion, to be the 2 best entries. The Promoter will contact the winners via contact details provided. The winner(s) will then need to contact the Promoter via Facebook messenger. Attempts will be made to notify the winner(s) via the original post. If a prize winner wishes to claim their prize, the prize winner must reply to the Facebook communication and verify their eligibility to win under these terms and conditions within 5 working days of being contacted. If the prize winner fails to do either or both of those things by the deadline, that prize winner will be deemed to have forfeited their prize. Subject to legislation, in the event that the prize winner forfeits their prize or a prize remains unclaimed, further winners will be selected following the same procedure as the original draw.

In the event that the redraw winner does not claim their prize or is ineligible, the Promoter will conduct further redraws until the prize is awarded (subject to any further regulatory directions). The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is for the race tickets only. The winner is responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, and equipment for the event. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any subsequent variation in prize.

Prize Terms

Each prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. FreshChoice is not responsible for any breach of these terms and conditions. Each prize is only available in New Zealand. FreshChoice reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to making multiple entries in respect of one draw or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. FreshChoice's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Variations

FreshChoice reserves the right to vary any of the terms of entry applying to this promotion or to modify, terminate, suspend or reschedule this promotion.

Exclusions and Liability

FreshChoice is not responsible for late or misdirected entries and takes no responsibility for any entries not correctly lodged. To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting any rights entrants may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in relation to the promotion, FreshChoice and Kepler Challenge, and the related companies, employees and agencies of each shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion or claiming/winning any prize. FreshChoice is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with the promotion.

Privacy Policy and Use of Personal Information

Entrants consent to FreshChoice sharing information provided in entries for marketing related purposes, this includes sharing on Meta. Any personal information collected by FreshChoice through the competition will be stored, used and disclosed in accordance with FreshChoice's Privacy Policy on https://www.freshchoice.co.nz/privacy-policy/ and the Privacy Act. Entrants have the right to access their personal information in pursuant to the Privacy Act, and can do so by contacting customerinfo@freshchoice.co.nz or via one of the methods set out in FreshChoice's Privacy Policy.
