Sushi Waffle
Here's something different to try with waffles. Delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 cup steamed brown rice
- 1 cup chicken breast diced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 avocado sliced
- 1/2 telegraph cucumber chopped finely
- 2 tbs Japanese mayonnaise
- 1 tbs sriracha
- 1 tbs black sesame seeds
Method
- Chop avocado, cucumber and avocado and set aside.
- Mix paprika, garlic powder, diced chicken and a drizzle of oil in a bowl.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook chicken.
- Mix steamed brown rice with sesame oil.
- Roll the rice up into a ball, and put into a well oiled waffle iron.
- Remove from waffle iron when rice reaches desired crispiness.
- Place chicken, cucumber and avocado on rice.
- Mix together mayonnaise and sriracha and drizzle over waffle. Add more mayonnaise and sriracha to taste if desired and top with black sesame seeds. Enjoy!
