
Swedish Meatballs
A delicious dinner full of flavour.

Ingredients
- 500g Beef Mince
- ¾ cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 Tblsp Chopped Parsley
- ¼ Tsp Ground Allspice
- ¼ Tsp Ground Nutmeg
- ¼ cup Finely Chopped Onion
- ½ Tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ Tsp Pepper
- ½ Tsp Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tblsp Olive Oil
- 5 Tblsp Butter
- 3 Tblsp Flour
- 2 Cups Beef Stock
- 1 Cup Full Cream
- 1 Tblsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tsp Dijon Mustard
- Salt/Pepper to Taste
Instructions
- Mix beef mince ,breadcrumbs ,parsley ,allspice ,nutmeg ,onion ,garlic powder ,pepper/salt and egg in a bowl.
- Roll into meatballs and cook in frypan with olive oil and 1 Tblsp butter continuously turning until cooked through and set aside.
- Add 4 Tblsp butter and flour to frypan and whisk till it turns brown.
- Slowly stir in beef stock and cream.
- Add worchestershire sauce and Dijon mustard and simmer till sauce thickens.
- Add salt/pepper to taste.
- Add meatballs back to the frypan and simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
